Trofeo Alfredo Binda was a race of many attacks throughout it's hilly course but the race ended in a sprint. Here, a star-studded field battled for victory and it was Elisa Balsamo who won ahead of Lotte Kopecky and Puck Pieterse.
Pieterse and the likes of Niamh Fisher-Black, Marlen Reusser and Mareille Meijering launched dangerous attacks throughout the finale but there was always firepower in the chasing group which ended up leading into a small group sprint. There, Balsamo was the fastest out of the bunch after surviving well the day's climbs.
