Egan Bernal to race Tour of Norway in final bid to make it to Tour de France

Egan Bernal still has his mind set on being selected by INEOS Grenadiers to race the Tour de France 2023 and will continue his preparation for it. After racing at a good level the Tour de Romandie and the Tour de Hongrie, he now faces another race in Northern Europe: the Tour of Norway.

The Colombian will race a race that was won in 2022 by Remco Evenepoel and will be held between May 26 and 29. It will start with a prologue of 7.4 kilometers and then will have a first stage with two mountain passes. After a third flat stage, the last one will have the classic finish in Stavanger.

After his crash last year that almost cost him his life, Egan has struggled to get into the rhythm of competition, but we have seen him at a very good level in the last two races in which he has participated and perhaps in Norway he can try to fight for his first win of the year.
