INEOS Grenadiers are keen on starting their season on a roll, and have revealed a stacked lineup for the Vuelta a San Juan. Egan Bernal, Filippo Ganna, Daniel Martínez and Elia Viviani all take their position in search of early-season success.
With some of the team at the Tour Down Under and another block in Mallorca where the team trains every winter, some more riders travelled now to South America for the Vuelta a San Juan. Seven stages, six of them for the sprinters and one for the climbers, will see some exciting racing at World Champion Remco Evenepoel, former World Tour rider Miguel Ángel López and several big name sprinters will take to the start.
INEOS will have a strong team for the overall classification with Egan Bernal starting off his 2023 campaign, joined by Daniel Martínez. The duo will be in search of a win in the overall classification. Although there is no time-trialing, due to the queen stage's profile, it is not impossible to see Filippo Ganna battle aswell as he prepares for the track World Championships.
They will be joined by Jhonatan Narváez and Brandon Rivera who will provide support in the queen stage and the sprints. There, Elia Viviani will join with similar goals to that of Ganna, but the Italian will look for victories in the many available sprints.
