Demi Vollering will not miss the fun! FDJ - Suez confirm the Dutch star for Omloop Het Nieuwsblad

As a first cobbled race on the calendar, Omloop Het Nieuwsblad WE traditionally attracts all the top ladies in the peloton. In that sense, the 17th edition of the Belgian classic will be a bit different without the podium finishers from previous year, but top-star Demi Vollering won't be among the absentees.
Neither of Marianne Vos, Lotte Kopecky and Elisa Longo Borghini seem to be travelling to Belgium this weekend, with some opting to focus on Strade Bianche next week while Vos will start the season a bit later after an eventful cyclocross season. For Vollering, this opens up a path to finally win the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad after she already came second to Annemiek Van Vleuten in 2022.

- Regarding one point in the article: Vingegaard and Pogacar raced against each other at Monuments in the past - Il Lombardia and Liege, from 2020 to 2022.
