Enric Mas renews for 4 more seasons!
The star of the telephone team's contract was set to expire at the end of 2025. However, after the agreement his contract is extended until 2029. This is important news for the Spaniard, and his team.
"I am very grateful for the confidence placed in me for the next four years and the truth is that I am very happy. It gives me the necessary motivation to continue growing in this team," begins Mas in the
official announcement of the renewal.
"When I finish this contract I will be 34 years old and I will have been with
Movistar Team for 10 seasons. So, I want to thank both Eusebio and the Telefónica brand that has trusted me and I hope to repay that trust with good results," Mas added.

Enric is having a great 2025 season, after scoring consecutive podiums in the Volta a Catalunya (3rd overall) and Itzulia (2nd only behind Joao Almeida). Because of the confidence placed in him, the Spaniard says he wants to go and win the Vuelta a España for his Movistar Team, a race where he has been on the podium many times.
"One of my main goals, along with the Tour, will be La Vuelta. I've got a thorn in my side after climbing the podium several times and I'd love to get a great Tour for Movistar Team," concluded the Spanish cyclist.
A brutal 2nd half of 2025 for Enric Mas
Following the announcement of his renewal, Enric Mas can now fully focus on his preparation for the two grand tours he will race.
First he will go to the Criterium du Dauphiné, where he will face Tadej Pogacar, Jonas Vingegaard and Remco Evenepoel for the first time. Then to the Tour de France against the same rivals, plus Primoz Roglic. Finally, the Vuelta a España, again against Pogacar and Vingegaard.
