Cian Uijtdebroeks wins first mountain stage at Tour de l'Avenir and jumps into race lead

The first mountain stage of the Tour de l'Avenir saw a lot of action on the ascent to François Longchamp as BORA - hansgrohe's supertalent Cian Uijtdebroeks surprised to take a dominant win atop the mountain and take over the race lead.

The Belgian was the strongest on the day, attacking and taking over a minute over the entire competition on the final ascent. Uijtdebroeks has taken over the yellow jersey as he just barely managed to cancel the gap he had over Michel Hessmann who finished third on the day. Davide Piganzoli rode to second on the day.
