The hopes of Dutch
team dsm-firmenich PostNL will be in the hands of its two French leaders -
Romain Bardet and
Warren Barguil. Both experienced riders have already got plenty experience with the race with Bardet even arriving on the podium back in 2018.
"This year,
Strade Bianche will be held on the well-known course, but with an extra lap, which makes the race another thirty kilometers longer," sports director Luke Roberts looks ahead. "This extra lap plus the two final sections that will be ridden twice will make the race even more selective."
