Bingoal WB recruit former classics champion Peter Van Petegem as new Sports and Business Development Manager

Peter Van Petegem joins Bingoal WB as Sports and Business Development Manager. The intention is that the former rider will share his experience in the sporting field, while he is also involved in the development and contacts with partners of the Belgian team.

"I have been active in the insurance industry for years and have long wanted to work for a cycling team to pass on my experience," the team's press release states. "I stayed in cycling after my career, especially with my two sons Axandre and Maurits who are young riders, but also with my responsibilites at Flanders Classics and the Super 8 Classic."

Van Petegem sees his role as follows: "The goal is to grow, both in terms of sports and in terms of contacts with partners and public relations. I will often be present at the races to encourage our riders to give everything and win. I also want to open new doors to further grow the team. I think the perspectives are very broad."
