Ben Healy claims GP Industria victory with late charge

EF Education-EasyPost rider Ben Healy claimed victory in the GP Industria & Artigianato by launching an attack with 13 kilometres to go and retaining his lead until the end. Amanuel Ghebreigzabhier secured the second position, with Mark Stewart rounding out the podium.

A group comprising Filippo Dignani, Michele Berasi, Davide Dapporto, Declan Irvine, Francesco Galimberti, and Pierelis Belletta broke away from the peloton. Nevertheless, their effort was of limited duration, and they were apprehended shortly after.

At the 13-kilometre mark, Ben Healy made a decisive move, creating a gap of more than 11 seconds. Diego Ulissi, Marc Hirschi, and Felix Großschartner were leading the peloton for the UAE Emirates at the front.

He managed to hold onto his lead until the very end and took the victory, while Amanuel Ghebreigzabhier came in second and Mark Stewart rounded out the top three.
