The kick off for the 2025 World Tour season is almost upon us. Last year, UAE Team Emirates - XRG were far and away the most successful team, and as they look to get this new campaign off to a positive start, Australia's own Jay Vine leads the charge.
“I’m really looking forward to the race," previews the 29-year-old Vine, who took overall victory at the Tour Down Under in 2023, in an official press release via the UAE Team Emirates - XRG website. "I had a really good summer of preparation in Australia and excited to get back to Adelaide for the Tour Down Under, a place where I have some amazing memories. We have a really strong team for the race and are aiming for some big results.”
Alongside Vine, UAE Team Emirates - XRG are bringing a very strong team to the Tour Down Under. Familiar faces of the team Marc Soler and Rui Oliveira and joined by the prodigiously talented Spanish youngster Pablo Torres.
Also present are a trio of new signings in their first race for the team. Former INEOS Grenadiers rider Jhonatan Narvaez, former Intermarche rider Rune Herregodts and signing from Portuguese team Sabgal, Julius Johansen are all set to make their UAE Team Emirates - XRG debut at the 2025 Tour Down Under.
