Soudal - Quick-Step are still looking for success in the cobbled classics. They have one final opportunity this spring at Paris-Roubaix, but they have announced a strong lineup with several cards to play in the brutal cobbles.
The Belgian team has won this race many times in the past and have a lot of experience, which will come in handy in a race that is often chaotic and with mishaps all throughout. After a disappointing spring campaign they've looked better at the Tour of Flanders where Tim Merlier and Kasper Asgreen rode on the offensive. There the Dane was seventh and he may be better suited to the flat cobbles. That will certainly be the case with his teammates however.

Both Davide Ballerini and Tim Merlier continue their spring campaign and will be better suited to this race, lacking the climbs where others made difference in Flanders. There is depth within the team, Bert van Lerberghe and Casper Pedersen will make for the main support.
Tim Declercq is absent from the race in return. Quick-Step also bring in Yves Lampaert who was third at the Classic Brugge-De Panne and local rider Florian Sénéchal who carries the colours of France. Both are outsiders for a result and giving the team more options for the finale.
