Andreas Kron has recently returned to his best form, showing a high level in the GP Aargau and the Tour de Suisse, but has soon after had a pebble in his shoe as the 24-year old just tested positive Covid-19 positive.
Although he's managed to stay clear of any positive test throughout the race - in which he finished third on the opening day and closed the race in 16th place - Kron travelled back home this week towards the national championships, however has tested positive for Covid-19 and will be forced to miss them.

The Dane has been selected to represent Lotto Soudal on the Tour de France, his debut in the Grand Boucle. Despite having been said that he will still be at the start in Copenhagen, the Dane faces a situation where his form is quite possibly going to take a hit ahead of the race.
Lotto Soudal will be protecting Caleb Ewan in the sprints, whilst the likes of Kron, Tim Wellens and Brent van Moer will be candidates to take stage wins from breakaways into the race.
