In a blow for the
Astana Qazaqstan Team,
Alexey Lutsenko has been forced to withdraw from the
Tour de Suisse after a bout of illness that has effected him over the last couple of days.
Worryingly, with the Tour de France just a matter of weeks away, Lutsenko was one of the first riders out the back of the peloton of stage 3 of the
Tour de Suisse as the climbing began. The 30-year-old eventually came home in 41st position, over four and a half minutes down on the stage winner, Mattias Skjelmose.
