After announcing retirement, Sergio Henao returns to competition at the Joe Martin Stage Race

Just over two months ago, Sergio Henao announced his retirement from pro cycling. However, it may have been a premature decision, as the Colombian climbers will be back in the peloton today at the Joe Martin Stage Race representing 2nBike Emanuel Ibarry.

The four-day stage race in Arkansas, USA, is a 2.2 category race and so an official UCI event. Although it is unclear whether Henao will or not be racing for the rest of the season with the American team, he will starting today be in competition once again, after his last outing was at last year's Vuelta a España - for the Team Qhubeka NextHash.
