Adam Yates won the fourth stage of the Deutschland Tour. He overcame the brutal climb and crossed the finish line first to secure the victory.
He launched an attack after the peloton caught up with the breakaway. Steadily increasing the lead from 10 seconds to over 25 seconds. It is his first victory in the season. “I’m really happy. It’s my first win in a long time, and this year I’ve had a lot of bad luck. I’ve been sick it feels like the whole year. To come back after the Tour and with good condition and good legs, it really feels good,” Yates said.
He also jumped to the top position in GC, thanks to his victory. He currently leads with over 30 seconds gap. Adam will try his best to defend his position in the final stage on Sunday.
