I see what not to do according to Horner. So then what does a rider and team do to beat Tadej?

Tadej has been off the charts since he was a kid. He is the modern day Merckx, who could not win all of the same races he once dominated in modern cycling and that makes Tadej a better athlete. Even if he retires in 2030, he is still likely going to be considered one of the best that ever raced.

"He's not the best at any one thing, but he's in the top three in everything," claims Zonneveld. I mean, I think we can all say he's clearly the best climber in the world? I've been watching pro road cycling races for 6 years straight and I've only seen Vingegaard challenge and beat him on significant climbs in multi day races (and those days are gone I think).
