- nothing surprises me at Trek anymore .Skelly their best GC rider this year. If he had some better support could have done even better at the Vuelta but faded towards the end. i get it he was fatigued as well .
- Gaahhh! The clickbait has got me again!!
- You said it yourself, if he hadn’t crashed he’d have had as big or even bigger a points haul than last season! Stupid headline and non-story!
- I also speak from experience but until you ACTUALLY know for a fact what his C7 issue was then you're just blowing smoke!
- tragedy for sure
- if he can win the Giro, he should go. Tadej won't be there. Remco has won the Vuelta already. this gets him 2/3 of the way through the trilogy. even if Remco takes 2 minutes out of Tadej in the TTs - and I don't think he will - but should he, then Tadej wins by 8 minutes instead of 10?
Remco has been so far below Tadej's level in LBL, TdF, Lombardia, and more. he is light years away from beating him in the TdF.
- Tadej is a pretty great time trialist. he is no Remco, no one is, but Tadej has won 40% of his TTs and podiumed far more.
- As long as he stays healthy, he´ll be just fine :)
- as much as i like JV, i dont see him winning another tour as long as Pog is around, and even then, he might be past his prime vs the younger guys.
- This is cause Visma isnt good enough and realize that they cant contest for the TDF anymore(they dont have the means) thats why they will transition to this indeed. And its the right call.
