Fem Van Empel (NED) 🥇🥇🥇🥇 Winner of Round 4️⃣ of Women Elite CX in Maasmechelen after a great battle between Pieterse and Van Anrooij #CXWorldCup
Pauwels Sauzen - Bingoal rider Fem van Empel has won the World Cup Maasmechelen. She beat Puck Pieterse and secured the victory. This is her sixth victory of the season.
Helene Clauzel started the race with the lead, but soon Fem van Empel decided to join her and take the lead. Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado and Shirin van Anrooij were trailing behind van Empel.
Fem van Empel managed to hold the lead till the end and crossed the finish line first to take secure the gold. Puck Pieterse gave a tough competition to van Empel but she had to satisfy herself with silver. Shirin van Anrooij finished third.
