After over a month without winning, at the Superprestige Middelkerke today Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado took the win, which has been the second win of 2023 as the riders move clear of the World Championships.
Alvarado brough her best game to Middelkerke and has moved clear immediately on the opening minutes of the race. The Alpecin-Deceuninck rider was able to maintain her lead throughout the whole race and took a comfortable win, with Lucinda Brand and Annemarie Worst wrapping up the podium.
