Blanka Vas' return to the cyclocross fields is quickly approaching as the 22-year-old's preparation seems to quickly enhancing. However the Hungarian champion would prefer to pin on the bib numbers even faster. Vas was back on her bike on Tuesday six days after her operation on her collarbone. The rider posted a photo via Instagram showing her taking a leisurely tour in and around Valkenburg.
Vas fell hard during training last week and was decided to undergo surgery in Herenthals hospital on Wednesday evening. A heavy setback, as she had started the season very well. The young rider immediately won on her cyclocross debut this season at the GP Oisterwijk, where she outpaced Annemarie Worst and Denise Betsema. That is why the Hungarian was one of the dark horses for many cyclocross races this season. It is not yet clear when Vas will return to action.
