Wout van Aert confirmed at Dwars Door Vlaanderen - Visma start without ill Christophe Laporte and Dylan van Baarle

Team Visma | Lease a Bike is starting Dwars door Vlaanderen with Wout van Aert at the helm, however the team is missing out on two key cards: 2021 and 2023 winner Dylan van Baarle and Christophe Laporte.

Hence, without it's two cards, the team could have less opportunities to use against a strong Lidl-Trek. Nevertheless if they are on a good day, the Dutch team with no doubt will be towards the front and with several contenders for victory. Wout van Aert is the most notable one, having here his final race before the Tour of Flanders where he hopes to take a career-changing win.

Omloop Het Nieuwsblad winner Jan Tratnik will be at the start and in hopes of having better legs than he did at the E3 Saxo Classic, whilst Matteo Jorgenson will also be a very dangerous rider who has recently won Paris-Nice. The team can also count on Tiesj Benoot and Tim van Dijke who recently performed very strong at Gent - Wevelgem.

The team is completed by his brother Mick van Dijke and also Visma's late signing this winter of Julien Vermote, who comes in as a replacement for Dylan van Baarle.

Team Visma | Lease a Bike for Dwars door Vlaanderen:

Wout van Aert, Matteo Jorgenson, Tim van Dijke, Mick van Dijke, Tiesj Benoot, Julien Vermote and Jan Tratnik.
