Wout van Aert and Sepp Kuss confirmed to lead Team Visma | Lease a Bike at Volta ao Algarve

Wherever Team Visma | Lease a Bike go, there are strong riders and big ambitions. The Volta ao Algarve is no exception, the Dutch team presents Wout van Aert and Sepp Kuss at the start line, among other big riders who can aim for results throughout the week.

In Portugal, van Aert will search for stage wins. The time-trial mainly will be an objective - where he'll face for example Remco Evenepoel - but realistically speaking he will also be contesting the sprints. The overall classification is a very realistic goal as well, but he has not expressed much desire to do so at this time of the season.

That will most likely be the task for Jan Tratnik, who has shown tremendous form over the Vuelta a Murcia and Clásica Jaén Paraiso Interior, should be a tough contender in the time-trial and hilly stages. In the climbs Sepp Kuss, Tiesj Benoot and Milan Vader will all be contenders for stage wins and possibly contesting for the yellow jersey.

The lineup is complete by Per Strand Hagenes - who will join van Aert, Tratnik and Benoot in the schedule and preparation towards the cobbled classics - and late signing Julien Vermote who will be making his debut for Visma in Portugal.
