Things didn't go to plan for the sprinters today at the women's Tour Down Under as the first attacks emerged and Alexandra Manly rode into the win and ochre jersey,
Both Grace Brown and Amanda Spratt were on the attack on the second stage of the race, however the latter was caught in the closign kilometers. A small sprint took place in which Manly beat Gorgia Williams and Nina Buijsman, and became the new race leader.
