VIDEO: Wout van Aert turns mechanic to fix his own puncture on first gravel section at Clasica Jaen

Wout van Aert has had a disastrous first gravel section at the 2024 Clasica Jaen Paraiso Interior after suffering a flat tire.

To make matters worse, due to the positioning of the Team Visma | Lease a Bike car, the Belgian was forced to do his own mechanical work. Swapping a tire with one of his teammates, Per Strand Hagenes, van Aert quickly, effectively and impressively went about fixing the problem, keeping himself in with a chance of victory.
