Completely emptying the tank en route to finishing third in Sunday's World Championship men's elite road race, Tadej Pogacar had absolutely nothing left in his legs post-race.

When UCI President David Lappartient came over to Pogacar and the new world champion, Mathieu van der Poel after the race, the Slovenian hilarious expressed his tiredness. "Two laps too much," Pogacar quipped much to Lappartient's amusement.
