Stage 3 of the Volta a Catalunya had quite an interesting finale, with Remco Evenepoel taking the responsibility of the race, attacking, and then dislodging everyone including Primoz Roglic to an impressive stage win.
The climb to La Molina saw an attack from the World Champion with four kilometers to go. Only Primoz Roglic managed to respond, and not having worked it seemed to be in favour of the race leader. However on the steep ramps of the Pyrenean climb Evenepoel had an extra gear when it came to the final sprint, as he took an emotional stage win.
