Today's team time-trial delivered quite a lot of spectacle. In the first time the race has hosted the discipline in 20 years, it has seen new rules where riders' times were taken at the finish line individually. Tadej Pogacar took full advantage of that situation.
At the end of the 32-kilometer TTT UAE Team Emirates executed a leadout for Pogacar who sprinted up the final uphill ramps to the line with quite some speed. UAE have finished the day in fifth place. Pogacar has lost 23 seconds on Jonas Vingegaard and now sits 10th in the overall classification.
