VIDEO: Remco Evenepoel stops for kickabout with fans at the roadside

Remco Evenepoel has been stepping up his Tour de France preparations recently before he embarks on the first Maillot Jaune quest of his career later this summer.

Doing reconnaissance of the two final stages of the 2024 route, including the time-trial from in Nice that brings the race to a close. As one of the biggest names and most recognisable riders in the peloton however, Evenepoel has seen many fans come out to support him. In a video shown on X (Twitter), the Soudal - Quick-Step leader - and former Anderlecht youngster - stopped off at the roadside for a quick kickabout that surely made the day of a number of his supporters.
