Mads Pedersen started his 2024 season in blistering form at the Etoile de Bessèges last week, taking not only the overall victory but also the points classification and a stage win.
One of the Dane's biggest goals this year will be the Classics and with more than one eye on Milano-Sanremo, Pedersen has taken a trip to one of the sport's most infamous locations, the Poggio, alongside his Lidl-Trek teammate, Alex Kirsch.
The last two successive seasons, Pedersen has come home in sixth at Milano-Sanremo as Matej Mohoric in 2022 and Mathieu van der Poel in 2023 took the win. Could 2024 finally be the year of triumph for Mads Pedersen?
