Julian Alaphilippe is back! The Soudal - Quick-Step rider took a brilliant stage win on the second day of racing at the 2023 Critérium du Dauphiné, showing off his puncheurs instinct on a final drag up to the line.
In a sprint that included the likes of Richard Carapaz, Sam Bennett and the race leader Christophe Laporte, it was Julian Alaphilippe who proved the strongest, taking a brilliant win that will surely bring a smile to cycling fans the world over after such a rough couple of years for the always entertaining Frenchman.
