Vuelta a Espana has seen it's first major incident on stage 2. The rain began to fall in the Alpine region and before the first summit finish of the race many riders went down in a wet roundabout including almost the entire
Team Visma | Lease a Bike.
The speed was high and so was the tension. In a roundabout, riders fell on both sides, but on the right side there were a lot of casualties, including six Visma riders where
Jonas Vingegaard was present.
Axel Zingle looked quite badly injured from the fall. Several riders from Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team also went down.
