VIDEO: Incredible scenes as Astana Qazaqstan Team duo share bike across the line after late UAE Tour crash

The sprint finale of the opening stage at the UAE Tour was marred by a massive crash within the peloton in the final few hundred metres.

Two of the riders involved were the Astana Qazaqstan Team pair, Harold Tejada and Michele Gazzoli. So badly effected was Tejada that he was unable to cross the finish line on his own bike. Thankfully for him, Gazzoli showed some immense team spirit to give his teammate a ride to the line and keep him in the race, at least until the results of any medical checks are found.
