Plenty happened on stage 14 of the 2023 Giro d'Italia considering none of the general classification riders did a single pedal stroke in anger.
Nico Denz emerged victorious from a chaotic finale which saw a leading trio caught by a chasing group involving the German inside the final kilometre. For Denz it was his second stage win of this year's race. Arguably the biggest winner of the day though was Groupama - FDJ's Bruno Armirail who moved into the Maglia Rosa courtesy of the peloton finishing over 20 minutes down.
