VIDEO: Biniam Girmay is mobbed by adoring Eritrean fans after taking stage win at the Tour de Suisse

Biniam Girmay is back! Returning to winning ways, the Eritrean took stage 2 of the Tour de Suisse. As he attempted to make his way to the podium, Girmay was mobbed by his adoring fans.
"That's great, isn't it," The Intermarché-Circus-Wanty rider said with a beaming smile in his post-stage interview. "That really means a lot to me. Winning in Switzerland for the first time and then in front of so many fans, amazing."
“When I crossed the finish line, I was also surprised," the 23-year-old admits having out paced the likes of Arnaud Demare and Wout van Aert to victory. On his big return to racing after crashing out of the Tour of Flanders. "I would not have thought that two months after that crash."
