Despite suffering relegation at the end of 2022, Lotto Dstny have bounced back and already secured themselves three wins so far this year and according to Victor Campenaerts at least "every WorldTour team is scared of this Lotto team."
"We're starting here with a pro continental team, which every WorldTour team will be afraid of," the 31-year-old Belgian tells Sporza. "I think we're starting here with one of the best Lotto teams of recent years. We need to make the most of that. Everyone is in his best form ever."

"Frederik Frison, for example, who is now really rising above himself. That is a man who has already achieved top ten results in Flemish races. If he is ahead, then we have confidence in that. That gives us a situation that Quick Step was in for years," Campenaerts continues. But without a doubt Lotto Dstny's most dangerous rider is proving to be Arnaud De Lie.
The young Belgian is the man behind all three of Lotto's successes this season and Campenaerts believes having De Lie instantly makes Lotto Dstny a team to be feared. "Having De Lie puts us in a luxurious position," he says. "In every possible escape scenario we can say that we are not riding along, because we have De Lie. Tiesj Benoot or Laporte who would sprint against De Lie? Good luck!"
