VF Group - Baridani CSF - Faizanè confirm Giro lineup in search of returning to old glory days

A team with over 40 years of history and one that remains solid in the world of cycling. It's name changes often, but VG Group - Bardiani CSF - Faizanè is back to the Giro d'Italia and this year it will once again try to make good use of it's wildcard to chase stage wins and always be part of the breakaways in which it specializes in.

Over the starting months of the season the Italian team has shown itself to be as combative as ever, and has been lighting up races all throughout the calendar with it's style of racing. With no doubt at the Giro d'Italia they will once again be sending riders to the breakaways on the daily, potentially more than one at a time. The team can however start with some ambitions of taking a stage win after Filippo Fiorelli's Giro d'Abruzzo performance - winning the points classification, finishing 5th in GC, second in two stages and leading the race for a day.

The last time the team won at the Corsa Rosa was in 2016 with a 20-year old Giulio Ciccone. Luca Covili, Martin Marcellusi and Alessandro Pinarello will be interesting riders to eye on the hilly and mountainous days, whilst the team also features the presence of Filippo Magli, Alessio Martinelli, Manuele Tarozzi and Enrico Zanonello.
