According to the Norwegian channel TV2,
Jumbo-Visma has secured the arrival of Espen Aareskjold. The Norwegian coach, who worked for Uno-X for a long time, was also in negotiations with Soudal Quick-Step, according to TV2, but has opted for Jumbo-Visma where he should be the reinforcement after Marc Lamberts' departure.
Aareskjold has a good reputation within the Scandinavian cycling community and has already worked with Per Strand Hagenes and Kristoffer Halvorsen, two world champions in the youth categories. He also had the brothers Markus and Daniel Holgaard, Frederik Dversnes and the brothers Tobias and Anders Halland Johannessen under his wing.
