UCI WorldTour team rankings - Red Bull pull clear of Visma to sit behind an unstoppable UAE

The week after the Tour de France brought few changes to the UCI WorldTour team ranking, but there were notable moves thanks to the races held in Europe. The Tour of Denmark, Tour de l'Ain, the Clásica de San Sebastián and the Circuito de Getxo distributed points that slightly reshaped the table as of Tuesday, 4th August 2026.
As has been the case all season, UAE Team Emirates XRG remain the sport’s dominant force. The Emirati setup holds a huge cushion over its rivals with 23,687 points, almost 5,600 more than the team in second. The scoring largely from Tadej Pogacar, and also Isaac del Toro at the recent TDF, makes them untouchable.
The runner-up spot still belongs to Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe, now on 18,069 points. The German team has found a major boost this year thanks to riders like Remco Evenepoel, second in the individual UCI Ranking after his win at the Clásica San Sebastián.
Team Visma | Lease a Bike complete the podium with 16,098 points. The Dutch squad hold a privileged position despite a season marked by injuries and the competitive absence of some star names. Wout van Aert’s return to the forefront, with his show of strength in Denmark, also brings valuable points to the yellow team. Jonas Vingegaard may not race again this year.
Decathlon and Lidl-Trek keep trading blows for fourth place
Fourth remains in the hands of Decathlon CMA CGM Team, up to 14,507 points. The French outfit continue to profit from the consistency of riders like Paul Seixas, fifth in the individual UCI Ranking, plus the strong form of Felix Gall.
Chasing them are Lidl-Trek, fifth with 13,181.15 points. Mads Pedersen’s absence from the Tour of Denmark cost him ground individually, although the U.S.-registered team sustain a fine season through names like Mattias Skjelmose, Giulio Ciccone (points at the Klasikoa) and Juan Ayuso.
EF Education-EasyPost climb after Carapaz’s victory
A notable mover is EF Education-EasyPost, who pass NSN Cycling Team and rise to 13th with 7,531 points.
The main driver is Richard Carapaz, who jumped seven places in the individual UCI Ranking and edged back towards the world elite. The Ecuadorian has been one of the big figures of the post-Tour block and is supplying a crucial haul of points for his team.

As it stands, Pinarello - Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team (15th) and Cofidis (18th) continue to sit within the green line, provisionally putting them at range of a promotion in the coming years.
Groupama - FDJ sit in 20th place and struggle with the competition with several ProTeams; whilst Team Picnic PostNL continue to sink down the classifications; whilst losing several of its leaders and simultaneously risking a place in the Top30 as Mikel Landa will join 31st place Mikel Landa.

- Hey Jumpyjohn, this is how he should do it: Pogi says "This year I want to do the Giro again, I just love this race and the Italians." He does the Giro, wins, and then goes to the Tour. He talks nothing about the Vuelta, if asked he says "No, I'm not doing the Vuelta, I will focus on the WC." After winning the Tour he never mentions the Vuelta. Pogi and his trainer see if Pogi is feeling good and strong, if he still has good legs, then they decide. If they think he can do it... LET'S GO, POGI IS DOING THE VUELTA. OMG!!!
