UAE Team Emirates reveal team for the Vuelta a Andalucía, led by Juan Ayuso

UAE Team Emirates, current leader of the classification as the best team in the world, confirmed its participation in the Vuelta a Andalucía, which will take place from February 14 to 18.

Although Slovenian champion Tadej Pogacar will not be defending his title, the team will count on the talent of Spaniard Juan Ayuso as team leader to face the challenges of this race that will cover five provinces and a route of 850 kilometers.

Pogacar's absence will not diminish the level of the team, as Ayuso, who placed third and fourth in the last two editions of the Vuelta a España, is presented as an experienced leader. The Catalan cyclist, winner of stages in the Tour de Romandie and the Tour de Suisse in 2023, will be backed by a group of cyclists with extensive experience and proven track records.

The team will feature standouts such as Belgian Tim Wellens, winner of the 2018 Ruta del Sol, Polish Rafał Majka, with two stage wins in the Vuelta a España, and Italian Alessandro Covi, winner of the second stage of the Andalusian race in 2022.
