Lianne Lippert started the Jebel Hafeet 1 minute behind, so she tried her best to catch the riders at the front. In the last 7 km Trek-Segafredo took control with Gaia Realini shattering the group into just 3 riders with her teammate Elisa Longo Borghini (Trek-Segafredo) and Esmée Peperkamp (Team DSM) only for in the last 5 km the Trek-Segafredo duo went solo in the climb with Peperkamp being dropped.

Silvia Persico (Team UAE-ADQ) finishing third.
