Tour de La Provence future uncertain as organisation face financial problem

According to French newspaper L'Équipe, Tour de La Provence is facing financial problems. It remains to be seen whether the race will make it to the 2023 calendar, where it has recently gained a position as an important early-season race.

Marion Rousse who was working as deputy director for the French race also resigned due to financial dispute and has decided to proceed with legal action against the organisation. The French was first in held in 2016. It has been won by Thomas Voeckler,Rohan Dennis, Gorka Izagirre,Iván Sosa and Nairo Quintana. Quintana won the 2022 edition and 2020 edition making him the only rider who won the race twice.
