Tour de France Femmes 2026 Classifications Update Stage 6 - Reusser stays in yellow; Longo Borghini climbs up; van der Breggen and de Vries lose time

The 2026 Tour de France Femmes classifications will shift across nine stages of racing, from the Grand Depart in Lausanne on 1 August to the final stage in Nice on 9 August. Across sprint stages, hilly terrain, an individual time trial and major mountain tests, each day can alter the shape of the race for the yellow jersey and the Tour’s other major classifications.
This live classifications hub is updated after each stage of the 2026 Tour de France Femmes with the latest General Classification, Points Classification, Mountains Classification and Best Young Rider standings. As the race develops, it tracks the key movements in the fights for the yellow, green, polka-dot and white jerseys.
The General Classification remains the central battle of the Tour, but the wider standings will develop their own stories across a compact and demanding route. Sprint stages can reshape the points competition, breakaways can transform the mountains classification and the white jersey fight could change quickly once the leading young riders are tested in the time trial and high mountains.
With only nine stages and four major jersey competitions to settle, there is little room to recover from lost time or missed opportunities. Bonus seconds, sprint points, mountain points, breakaway moves and decisive race incidents can all produce significant changes from one day to the next.
General Classification Standings after Stage 6
Marlen Reusser has survived an important day in yellow, saving her legs whilst Demi Vollering did spend some time in the wind today looking to create opportunities, and also looking to not see Elisa Longo Borghini enter the fight for the overall win. Into Mont Ventoux, Reusser carries only 12 seconds over Vollering, in what should be the decisive stage of the race.
Katarzyna Niewiadoma sits in an isolated third place, 1:17 minutes behind. Although not the hardest, this was an important day for the GC. Consistency matters, but not everyone has it. Femke de Vries lost time and dropped out of the Top10, another hit for Visma; whilst Anna van der Breggen completely fell out of GC contention.
And in the finale, Elisa Longo Borghini's late attack earned her important time. The Italian champion moved up from sixth to fourth, 2:28 away from Reusser now. Antonia Niedermaier sits 2:40 minutes behind whilst Dominika Wlodarczyk is 2:54. Very close by is Isabella Holmgren only on a 3:05-minute gap; whilst behind two riders who benefited from today's attack.
Cédrine Kerbaol moved up a position and is only two seconds away from Holmgren whilst Kim Le Court not only won the stage but conquered plenty bonus seconds throughout the day. From 13th to 9th in a day that didn't look crucial. Paula Blasi completes the Top10 whilst, despite not making time on her rivals, Pauline Ferrand-Prévot has ascended into 15th after finishing with the GC group.

Points Classification Standings after Stage 6
Lorena Wiebes remains in the lead of the points classification with a comfortable margin, but one that does fade slightly as the Tour moves through another difficult day. Her 144 points now lead Lotte Kopecky's 85.
With Kopecky lacking her best form, Wiebes is not rivaled by her teammate, but Noemi Rüegg and Kim Le Court with 84 and 82 can be a threat if they continue to show good form and strong results like today's.

Queen of the Mountains Standings after Stage 6
Whilst the GC women continue to miss the QOM points, Puck Pieterse continues to rack them up. Whilst Nikola Nosková was in the breakaway of the day and scored some early points, the lead grew to Pieterse who was on the attack late in the day. The 47 points that the Fenix - Premier Tech rider currently has will be important as the race heads into Mont Ventoux.

Youth Classification Standings after Stage 6
The youth classification has remained the same over this stage, with none of the four contenders gaining time in the late attack of the day. Antonia Niedermaier remains in the lead whilst Isabella Holmgren is only 25 seconds away from the white jersey. Paula Blasi and Nienke Vinke are 1:11 and 1:14 minutes behind respectively.

UAE Team L'IMAD remain in the lead of the teams' classification, having Elisa Longo Borghini on the attack in the latter parts of the stage, whilst Paula Blasi and Dominika Wlodarczyk finished the stage in the main GC group. The lead is of 1:59 minutes over Lidl-Trek.

- I agree, Remco did have bigger power output in the lower and punchier mountains, but when they would have got into the high mountains, then the picture would be turned around. I still think Jonas is a better high mountain climber and would have beaten Remco on Alp d'Huez. Maybe we will never know, I have the feeling Jonas will retire.
