After making a surprise appearance last weekend at Paris-Roubaix, finishing 17th,
Tom Pidcock will again lead the
INEOS Grenadiers at the upcoming
Amstel Gold Race.
Having crashed prior to the opening time-trial of the Itzulia Basque Country, Pidcock made a quicker-than-expected return to racing with a last-minute call-up for his elite Paris-Roubaix debut on Sunday. At the front for much of the race, the Brit eventually faded towards the end and took home a placing of 17th, the best result for INEOS on the day.
Supporting Pidcock at Amstel Gold Race will be former two-time race winner,
Michal Kwiatkowski. Winner back in 2015 and 2022, the Pole is joined by
Omar Fraile,
Brandon Rivera,
Connor Swift,
Ben Turner and
Cameron Wurf.
