Ineos Grenadiers has unveiled its squad for the upcoming
Dwars door Vlaanderen, comprising of leading riders such as
Filippo Ganna and
Tom Pidcock, who is making a comeback to competitive cycling after a two-week hiatus.
Tom Pidcock's early-season success, which included a victory in the fourth stage of Volta ao Algarve and Strade Bianche, is now overshadowed by doubts about his performance following his crash in the final stage of Tirreno-Adriatico. It remains to be seen if he can replicate his third-place finish on the podium from the previous season.
Known for his speed, Ganna is rapidly gaining a reputation as a classic rider, having already finished second in Milan-San Remo and tenth in the E3 Saxo Classic this season. However, a severe crash during Gent-Wevelgem prevented him from making it to the finish line.
Supporting their top riders, the British cycling team has selected young American rider Magnus Sheffield, as well as
Ben Turner,
Kim Heiduk,
Connor Swift, and
Jhonatan Narváez.
