Although today has pro cycling in Belgium, many attentions have been turned to Brussels where new World Champion Remco Evenepoel has taken the grand stage and has been received by thousands of fans.
The Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl Team rider is having a ceremony this afternoon in Belgium, in celebration of his win and also to unveil his new World Champion equipment. After a successful season that included wins at Liège-Bastogne-Liège and the Vuelta a Espana, it is a perfect culmination after years of promise.
The Belgian will be racing this week at Binche - Chimay - Binche where he will be debuting his new equipment, before another ceremony - this time his wedding - in the coming weekend.
