Third Covid-19 case hits Jumbo-Visma, Jos van Emden pulled after after entering Giro lineup last minute, Sam Oomen steps in

Jos van Emden stepped in to replace two Covid-19 cases within Jumbo-Visma's Giro d'Italia lineup. Now he himself has tested positive and has been replaced by Sam Oomen.

The Dutch team continues to struggle with an outbreak going on within the team and have lost another domestique. After Tobias Foss and Robert Gesink another rider has been forced to miss the Corsa Rosa just days before it's start, however this change may not be an harmful for Primoz Roglic's GC aspirations as Oomen will be able to provide more support in the mountainous stages.
