Ganna participated in the E3 Saxo Classic days later and was the only rider to match Mads Pedersen and Mathieu van der Poel's acceleration on the Taaienberg. He raced on to third on the day, and joining such competitors on this difficult terrain pushed the team to make the choice to have him race Flanders, besides Paris-Roubaix.
Backing him up will be Magnus Sheffield, sixth last year on the very same race and recently winner of the queen stage at Paris-Nice, a sign of good form as well from the American who recently also finished second at the Settimana Internazionale Coppi e Bartali.
Ben Turner,
Bob Jungels,
Samuel Watson,
Connor Swift and
Ben Swift complete the lineup on what will be a windy day that might blow up before we get to the climbs.
