Filippo Ganna did not initially have the Tour of Flanders in his schedule, but after showing such good form, he became INEOS Grenadiers' leader for the second monument of the season as well. The British team has announced the lineup that will be supporting him.

The Italian has been truly on the form of his life over the past weeks, thundering to a second place overall at Tirreno-Adriatico where he dominated the time-trial and held on very well in the stages that involved climbing, and then putting that climbing form to even better use as he battled Mathieu van der Poel and Tadej Pogacar on the climbs of Milano-Sanremo.

Ganna participated in the E3 Saxo Classic days later and was the only rider to match Mads Pedersen and Mathieu van der Poel's acceleration on the Taaienberg. He raced on to third on the day, and joining such competitors on this difficult terrain pushed the team to make the choice to have him race Flanders, besides Paris-Roubaix.

Backing him up will be Magnus Sheffield, sixth last year on the very same race and recently winner of the queen stage at Paris-Nice, a sign of good form as well from the American who recently also finished second at the Settimana Internazionale Coppi e Bartali. Ben Turner, Bob Jungels, Samuel Watson, Connor Swift and Ben Swift complete the lineup on what will be a windy day that might blow up before we get to the climbs.
