An inseparable part of the
Tour de France - the post-Tour criteriums will be once again a part of the riders' calendar tis summer. Traditionally, the biggest festivities are held in Belgium, Netherlands and last, but not least - in France. As such, there will be a total of 14 criteriums on French soil in the month after Tour de France with many of the race's big names promised to participate.
The Association of French Professional Criterions (ACPF) informs about the plans for this summer, including one large novelty, in a
press release: "We are also particularly excited to unveil a highly anticipated new feature: a Women's Cycling Critérium will be organized during the Critérium de Bretagne as well as the Critérium de Colmar with the presence of some of the best riders in the peloton."
"This will be a unique opportunity to celebrate the tremendous talent and competitive spirit of women cyclists, who are gaining visibility and recognition. In an era where women's cycling is in the spotlight, this event promises to be a brilliant showcase of the performances and aspirations of sportswomen.
