Team DSM have announced this wednesday a long-term partnership with bike light manufacturer Lezyne. The American brand is having it's 15th season sponsoring World Tour teams, with this deal, after supporting other teams such as Lotto Soudal and AG2R Citroën Team.
"We are excited to team up with the leading bike LED light manufacturer, Lezyne. They will equip us with their premium, high-end quality LED lights, which will improve rider visibility and safety on the road during our training effort," Team DSM's R&D expert Piet Rooijakkers announced.
Team DSM is currently at the UAE Tour where it is trying to obtain it's first win of the season. After a wildly successful 2017 season, the team has suffered backlash due to strict rules and has lost several of it's major leaders. However, the team has nevertheless maintained it's sponsorship status secure and is one of the leading professional teams when it comes to developing young riders.

- I don’t call the writers here journalists, they are at best paid posters, no more knowledgable than many of us. I certainly don’t agree with everything they say or portray but I do understand they have to provoke to make their hitherto business model sustainable. And as it isn’t possible to discuss with them, it’s more interesting, rewarding and instructive to pick points to discuss with people willing to engage. I choose and have my own reasons for positive of negative opinions on riders and engage when someone disagrees on those, not interested in engaging on other reasons. What I agree with or don’t is pretty irrelevant though, I think you’ll agree JV gets his fair share of lifestyle criticism (also here) so why should TP be exempt?
