Tadej Pogacar has a new weapon ready to target the 2023 season as UAE Team Emirates' bike supplier Colnago unveiled a new climbing bike which is set to be used by the likes of Pogacar, Juan Ayuso, João Almeida, Adam Yates, Jay Vine and more.
This morning the Italian brand has revealed the V4RS bike, a successor to the V3RS which Pogacar has used to great success over the last few years. This bike is said to have been in testing since 2020 and had as a base the V3RS and the Colnago C68, with the final outcome being a bike that is very similar to the attributes of that that the UAE Team Emirates has featured recently.
In addition to UAE Team Emirates, the bike is also set to be used by women's UAE Team ADQ which currently hosts riders such as Marta Bastianelli and Silvia Persico.

- Pidcock was riding at a hard enough pace until the sector where Pogacar made up something like 20 seconds in something like... 20 seconds. Pidcock was quite a bit ahead, and suddenly he wasn't. At that point, clearly he would get caught, so might as well get caught sooner and work together. That's just good cycling.
